1. Your account

You sign in with a one-time code sent to your e-mail address or Malaysian mobile number. Keep access to that e-mail or phone secure; anything done after a valid code is entered is treated as done by you.

You must be at least 18 years old, give accurate details, and register only vehicles you are allowed to use. We may suspend an account that is misused or used for fraud.

2. Charging sessions

A session starts when you scan the dock QR code (or choose the dock in the app) and confirm. The tariff shown on the confirmation screen — energy rate, parking base rate, free/grace minutes, overstay multiplier and any cap — is locked for that session and is not changed retroactively.

Charging speed depends on your vehicle, its battery state and the dock. Estimated times and costs are estimates only. You may stop charging at any time in the app.

Do not use damaged cables or connectors, do not tamper with the dock, and follow site signage and the instructions of site staff. Report a fault through the app or to site staff.

3. Parking, grace time and overstay

Parking is billed from the time you occupy the bay. After charging completes you have the grace period shown at the start of your session to move your vehicle. After the grace period, parking is billed at the overstay rate (base rate × multiplier) in 1-minute blocks until the bay sensor records that your vehicle has left.

Unplugging the cable does not end parking — the session ends only when the bay is detected as vacant, or when site staff record it after checking the bay. Overstay fees exist so the dock is free for the next driver.

Parking rates and overstay multipliers are set with the approval of the relevant local authority where required.

4. Prices and payment

Rates are shown in Ringgit Malaysia (RM) in the app and on the dock before you start. Your final amount (charging + parking + any overstay) is calculated when the session ends and charged to the payment method you selected. A receipt is available in the app.

Payments are processed by our licensed payment partner; we do not store your full card details. Where KILAT Wallet is offered, wallet credit is used only for KILAT sessions and is subject to the wallet terms shown at top-up.

During the pilot period, some payments may run in sandbox (test) mode where no real money moves; the app says so clearly when this applies.

5. Disputes and refunds

If you believe a charge is wrong, open a dispute from the receipt in the app with a short explanation. We aim to respond within 5 working days and will review session records, sensor events and dock data. Approved corrections are refunded to the original payment method or wallet.

6. Your vehicle and liability

You park and charge at your own risk. To the extent permitted by Malaysian law, we are not liable for loss of or damage to your vehicle or belongings, or for indirect losses, except where caused by our negligence. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the Consumer Protection Act 1999.

You are responsible for damage you cause to the dock, cables or bay.

7. Service availability

Docks may be unavailable because of maintenance, power supply, network or faults. Availability shown in the app is live but not guaranteed. We may change or stop features, sites or rates for future sessions with notice in the app.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version. If a change is significant we will ask you to accept it again in the app before your next session.

9. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia and the courts of Malaysia have jurisdiction.
